As the availability of Infrastructure facilities is always a key factor for achieving targets in manufacturing line and realising future business prospects, Heavy Engineering Workshop (HEW) had been broadening its base for targeted manufacturing capabilities thru’ procurement, installation and commissioning of all state-of-art machine tools, most of them of CNC categories, fabrication and welding machines of latest types and capacities, since inception.
Salient Features of Infrastructure of HEW:
- Associated with best equipped machines, having a capacity to produce 1500 MT per month, served by 10 nos. of EOT cranes of 30T lifting capacity.
- HEW run by experienced professionals with proven track records. Labour force trained for welding and fabrication practices in company run ITIs & Polytechnics.
- Workshop equipped with experienced welders and equipped with numerous hitech welding machines.
- Excellent technological support in welding from well experienced technologists.
- Capability to roll plates up to 90 mm with best accuracy, useful for manufacturing single piece Kiln Shell tube up to 6.0 Mtr. Diameter and 15 Mtr. length.
- Fabrication capability for manufacturing single piece LP column 3.3 Mtr. Diameter x 27 Mtr. Long
- Open fabrication bays equipped with sufficient nos. of Gantry cranes and mobile cranes (04 nos. Gantry & 09 nos. of mobile cranes of 30t lifting capacity.)
- Production of equipment in pollution free environment and hygienic working conditions for the workers with consistent quality & timely delivery.
- Associated with world class Moulding & Casting facilities at its Hitech Casting Facility adjacent to premises.
- Equipped with Spectrometer for Rapid Chemical Analysis.
- Control Assembly of Under Carriages for large size Bucket Wheel Stacker Reclaimers in the workshop.
